A Better Mistake
Eva House is an artist working with cyber augmentation, digital kitsch, trans-human avatars and future fashion. Her work is inspired by the sociocultural idea of the muse as ultimate “it girl” inter-fused with the emergence of a web-born look and the evolution of a mirrored, genderqueer gaze.Through this exploration Eva subverts classical representations of the muse and challenges historical portrayals of idol worship, divinity, female fetishization, beauty ideals and gender dynamics.
